Contact and registration for events

Contact forms and contact by e-mail

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail or register for an event, the contact details you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and answering any follow-up questions. When contacting us, you can decide whether you would like to be informed about our services in the future and, if so, which ones.

Our range of services is generally aimed at business customers. As a rule, this is therefore business contact data provided to a person by their respective employer. We reserve the right to delete contact data if we determine that this is not the case.

The following data is collected by the bbc in the context of establishing contact and registering for an event according to relevance; mandatory fields are marked accordingly in the form and include

  • Title
  • Firstname
  • Surname
  • E-Mail
  • company

The data will be processed for the purposes of processing and responding to your request. The data will be deleted depending on your request and the legal requirements of the GDPR – in particular if you request us to do so (see section Your rights). Contacting and making appointments via Microsoft Bookings

We use Microsoft Bookings, a service of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Microsoft”), to arrange consultation appointments with you and to manage appointments. Microsoft Bookings is part of the overall office solution Microsoft Office 365 also offered by Microsoft.

By clicking on the corresponding button, you will be directed to our Microsoft Bookings booking page. If you would like to arrange a consultation appointment with us, you will need to provide the following data:

  • Date and time of the desired appointment
  • Name

You can also optionally enter the following data:

In addition to your IP address, Microsoft Bookings also processes meta/communication data (e.g. device and browser information).

Events with partners

At regular intervals, bbc organizes campaigns in collaboration with its partners, offering webinars, live formats, white papers, and more. As a prospective customer or existing customer of bbc or our partners, you can benefit from these events. In return, we would like to contact you to give you the opportunity to get to know our service portfolio and our contact persons. Your contact details will be passed on to partners or the technical organizer in accordance with the conditions specified by the organizer for the individual event. For tracking measures for advertising purposes, your consent to the use of cookies and other tracking technologies is required and is within your own discretion.

You can revoke your consent at any time via a link in the emails we send you and resume contact with us yourself. The information provided in the forms, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored for a maximum of 180 days for the purpose of transmitting the requested information and in case of follow-up questions. If we have aroused your interest and you wish to remain in active contact with us, we will only delete your contact details once the business purpose has ceased to exist or the statutory retention obligations have expired.

This procedure may be deviated from for individual events or campaigns if our partners or bbc need to contact you specifically for the event, if this is a prerequisite for participation. In such cases, you will be informed of the data collection by the partner and, if you have a prevailing interest, you consent to the data collection by our partners and bbc. Our partners process the collected data in accordance with their privacy policies.

Data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) and (f) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until withdrawal.

Newsletter

You have the option of registering for the free newsletter on our website. Please note that our range of services is generally aimed at existing and potential business customers and not at private individuals. We therefore reserve the right to refuse inclusion in the mailing list. For your registration to be valid, we require your legally binding consent. To verify that the registration was actually made by the owner of the email address, you will receive a confirmation email during the registration process containing a link that you must click on to complete the registration. Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR):

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to obtain information about this personal data and the information specified in detail in Art. 15 GDPR.

Right to rectification and erasure (Articles 16 and 17 GDPR):

Right of withdrawal (Art. 7 GDPR):

You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing on our website at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You were informed of this when you gave your consent via the link to this privacy policy.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR):

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations. The right to lodge a complaint can be exercised in particular with a supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. Consent of applicants (up to the age of 15)
