The customer planned to migrate the central data warehouse (DWH) to the service provider and a job scheduler was identified as a dependency to the DWH. In this project, the automated processes were to be migrated from the existing job scheduler to another automation platform. Camunda was chosen as the tool for analyzing the automated processes and documenting the process landscape.
The customer creates evaluations/publications with an Oracle BI tool. These are first created in the BI development environment and must be deployed to the test environment and later to the production environment after approval. To start a deployment, the processes should be orchestrated using the Jira workflow. This contains information that is required for publishing the evaluations. Camunda was used to create the concept and document the processes.
